We're forgoing the traditional stuff and doing our own thing — an intimate registry ceremony, a party with our friends and family at one of our favourite breweries, a DJ whose thing is "electronic music coalescing with a torrent of nostalgia", lots of cake, and Jackson looking handsome in a suit.
We would love for you to join us in celebrating the life we've built together and all the happiness that awaits.
We're tying the knot at the Victorian Marriage Registry and would love to celebrate with you afterwards. Join us for canapés, good beer and lots of dancing!
We'll be kicking on afterward at The Osborne in South Yarra.
How it started (2016).
How it's going (2023).
You’re having a party at a brewery?
We’ve booked the whole venue! Wear your dancing shoes and get ready to drink!
Will there be food?
Deeds is known for its great tap list and delicious food. There’ll be lots of canapés – more than enough to fill you up and fuel your night.
Do I have to drink craft beer?
Yes. Okay, no, you don't (more for us!). There’ll be an open bar with craft beer, liquor, wine and soft drinks.
I have a food allergy/intolerance. Halp!
Don't worry, we've got you. There'll be a variety of food options to meet everyone's dietary needs. Please note down your requirements when you RSVP.
Are children welcome?
Yes. Dress code applies (cute photos!). If you decide to bring your kiddo, consider doing what we're doing and send them home with a babysitter (Jackson will be going home around 8.30ish) so you can kick on and have a fun night (and hopefully sleep in the next day…).
What's the parking situation at Deeds?
There's a small car park and free parking in the surrounding streets but we encourage you to take public transport since Glen Iris train station is right next door.
A note on gifts: Your presence at our wedding is the best present we could ask for, but should you wish to gift us something, we'll have a wishing well for cards and contributions towards our dream honeymoon.
Kindly RSVP by 7 September 2023.
